stayed one night and it was just an absoluteley horrifying experience. The room was filthy, with cobwebs everywhere, clearly not cleaned since the dawn of time. I also expected a proper double bed instead of conjoined singles, which is just unacceptable. Almost thought of leaving a good review, but just couldn't. Disgraceful, really.

The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist, making us feel welcomed.
The bathroom fittings appeared outdated, similar to what you might find at a car-boot sale, which made the overall experience feel less professional.

My honest journey to loving (or hating) this
Location is prime, right in the heart of town. The breakfast was a highlight, cooked to perfection.
The decor feels quite outdated, and some facilities could use improvement. The atmosphere is lively but noisy at night.

The location is solid for exploring the area, with easy access to nearby points of interest. Plus, the beds were comfortable enough to get a decent night's sleep after a long day.
The shower situation was really a mess. With a broken door, it turned my bathing experience into a mini flood. The noise from outside was unbearable, especially with some sort of late-night revelry from the pub below. On top of that, I noticed general cleanliness issues, like dusty surfaces and stained carpets that made me question the last time a deep clean was performed. Plus, a sparsely staffed reception wasn’t very reassuring—often leaving me without any assistance when issues arose.

All my thoughts, no sugarcoating
An alluring yet quaint gem nestled in the heart of town. Friendly staff and excellent location surrounded by delightful cafes and shops overshadow an aging decor. Though the breakfast exceeded expectations, some rooms showcase a need for updating. It’s characterful and offers great value. you know what you're signing up for!

Just a great match for a flying visit in Clonmel with best value for money ratio. The local UN Veterans group made the stay memorable with a warm welcome during the ceremony.

nice stay but improvements needed
The lady who checked me in was lovely and welcoming. The location was excellent, just a short walk from key attractions. The shower in my room had commendable pressure, making for a refreshing experience. I enjoyed the lovely views of the mountains that added a beautiful backdrop to my stay.
The breakfast option was not appealing enough to try.

The room was quite comfortable with a fantastic shower and great water pressure. The beds felt cozy, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. Plus, it was all very clean, which was a real plus. the decor was a bit dated, and I could hear noise from the other guests, which was somewhat disruptive. But for the price, it wasn't too bad!

The hotel exudes charm with its friendly staff and enjoyable bar atmosphere. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast system felt awkward, relying heavily on self-service which could use some refinement.
